I graduated from William James College in 2010 with a master’s degree in forensic and counseling psychology. From 2010 to 2021, I was a military spouse and held licensure in four states. I began working in the counseling field in Massachusetts and provided services in various community-based mental health settings during the early years of my career. In 2015, I relocated to North Carolina and joined Pinehurst Neuropsychology. While there, I provided individual therapy to adults with depression, anxiety, trauma, and stressors specific to military spouses, including deployment and living with a PTSD partner. Additionally, I provided caregiver support and support for brain health challenges.
In 2019, I began my private practice. My areas of specialization include anxiety, depression, personal growth and self-esteem, general relationship challenges, adjustment to medical conditions, functional neurological disorders, caregiver support, support to healthcare workers, and stressors related to a military lifestyle.
I am committed to supporting each of my clients by providing the tools to help them better understand their experience and solve their problems. I strive to create a comfortable and trusting environment and work diligently to reduce the stigma and barriers to care sometimes associated with therapeutic counseling. My goal in therapy is to help others set personal goals, develop emotional wellness, and maximize their quality of life.
